Product Designer needed for infotainment project 13 januari 2012

Formadera ID is looking for a versatile and multi-talented Product Designer to work with an exciting infotainment project through execution of design into a product that is to be implemented in one of Swedens most interesting building projects, in the Malmö area. In this role, you’ll work closely with engineers to execute the design. To work on site at Malmö is crucial for the project. Project time is set to 15 weeks approx.

What You’ll Do
* Present and explain your solutions to a range of stakeholders, and process their feedback.
* Work closely with engineering to execute design into a product that will work to set standards in a tough environment.

Specific Skills
Who We are Looking For:

* You live and breathe design.
* You naturally put yourself in the user’s shoes and can advocate for the user.
* You consider everything when designing, including the medium, the aesthetics and engineering. * You have strong verbal, written, and visual presentation skills.
* You’ve got the full understanding for the interaction of infotainment products and the implementation of it.
* You can work blindfolded with Rhinoceros, can do surfacing and knows the laws of plastic production tooling.
• You know where to put what material and have a sense for FEM analysis.
* You’re a master at Photoshop and Illustrator.
* You have a Bachelors degree in ID Design, User Experience, or a related field – or equivalent experience.
* You have a small business setup and the ‘F-skatt’ good-to-go.
